took photos at the lighting studio with steve. this will eventually be painted and put into some sort of scene. its made of sculpey with a wire/tin foil frame.
so...i did some real painting tonight. my throat hurts cause i didnt properly ventilate (aka kept my window closed cause its -30 degrees in the middle of july) but i like it so far...not crazy about the necklace/arm situation, but i havent really gotten there yet. i want the faces to all be more detailed, but it is hard to see/get close because i dont have daytimes to paint. also i am lazy. i havent really done anything much in the way of lighting this creature, but it...sort of works? i dunno. also, background thus far is a bland and unspecified ...cornfield? yellowish stuff? pee? i dunno. help.
i am an illustrator and maker of things, such as sculptures, puppets, paintings, tea, costumes...basically anything i can get my paws on.
